Rich with character and centuries-old tradition, our small, handmade Tamegroute plates feature the region’s iconic deep green glaze. A finish created through a unique firing process that gives each piece its own natural variations in tone and texture. Crafted in the village of Tamegroute near the edge of the Sahara, each plate is shaped by hand using local earthen clay, then glazed and fired in a stacked, wood-fed kiln. The unpredictable alchemy of this process creates the signature Tamegroute look: organic glaze pools, subtle bronzing and irregular surfaces that make every piece one-of-a-kind. No two plates will ever be identical.
