Story | Straight from southern Morocco’s Ouarzazate region, this Taznakht rug is a perfect collection of tradition, symbolism and natural beauty. Carefully woven using a rare blend of three techniques - flatweave, knotted pile, and embroidery — it’s a shining example of the skill passed through generations of Amazigh women.

The dramatic black field provides a striking canvas for the central stepped lozenge medallion, blooming rosettes and bold tribal motifs in still saturated saffron, coral and earth tones. These natural dyes were historically derived from henna, madder root, and pomegranate skin — each hue echoing the desert landscapes where these weavings originate.

Whether you hang it, layer it, or let it ground your space — this piece is more than décor. It’s a story, a signal of taste and a major conversation starter.
